Project Meetings

First coordination meeting in Skopje

January 2018Skopje, North Macedonia

IDTM participated in the first coordination meeting of The Main Elements of Us. Partners allocated project tasks and visited the State University of Tetovo, discussing intercultural learning and the use of digital technologies to support university studies.

Intercultural learning meeting in Sofia

February 2018Sofia, Bulgaria

IDTM’s team discussed its research on intercultural learning master’s programmes during the second transnational meeting in Sofia. The meeting included a visit to Sofia University and contributed to the partners’ work towards developing a new intercultural master’s programme.

Digital learning coordination meeting

3–5 May 2018Madrid, Spain

Partners presented research on the use of IT in European universities during the third coordination meeting. IDTM participated in discussions of educational practices and cultural histories that informed proposals for the project’s intercultural learning master’s programme.

Adult Learning

Developing new master’s programmes

1–6 July 2018Madrid, Spain

IDTM participated in a training course on creating new master’s programmes and securing their approval. Educational sessions, discussions with ministry representatives and a visit to the University of Alcalá de Henares supported participants’ professional learning and exchange of experience.

October 2018Istanbul, Türkiye

IDTM presented The Main Elements of Us at the International Erasmus Conference in Istanbul. Organised by Nişantaşı University, the conference introduced students to Erasmus+ opportunities and provided a setting to share the project’s work on intercultural learning.

Adult Learning

Intercultural learning and mobile application training

IDTM participated in the project’s second training in Sofia. Sessions covered developing an intercultural learning master’s programme and creating a mobile application with IT expert support. The programme also included presentation and testing of the project’s mobile application.

The Main Elements of Us held a multiplier event in Tetovo, recorded in IDTM’s project history. The event formed part of the project’s dissemination activity, presenting its work beyond the partner meetings and training programme.
